New Resonators, regions, and Echoes
- Version 2.4 of Wuthering Waves will release on June 12th

While you’re still working through everything version 2.3 has thrown at you, Wuthering Waves is already gearing up for its next massive update. Version 2.4, titled Lightly We Toss the Crown, lands on June 12th, and it’s packed to the brim with fresh content, new story, new Resonators, a brand-new region, and a full lineup of events and rewards.
Let’s start with the two new Resonators, Cartethyia and Lupa. They’ll headline their own convenes, Dance in the Storm’s Wake and Roar of Triumph, alongside new weapons Defier’s Thorn and Wildfire Mark.

The main quest expands with Chapter II Acts V and VI, Shadow of Glory and Flames of Heart, promising new narrative developments that stretch into Septimont, the update’s new region. With a change in scenery comes fresh exploration events like Septimont Travel Atlas and The Everglorious Summit, plus themed activities like the photo-hunting Uncovering Past Heroes.
You’ll also be able to log in and claim 10 Radiant Tide for free through the Gifts of Grand Opening event, while the 7-day login event Gifts of Applause dishes out even more. Echo fans get plenty to dig into too. New Echoes like Spectro Drake and Lioness of Glory join the roster, along with Phantom Echoes including Cuddle Wuddle and Fae.
There’s also a pair of new Sonata Effects, Windward Pilgrimage and Flaming Clawprint, which shake up Aero and Fusion builds with fresh synergy options. And if you’re in it for cosmetics, two new outfits arrive: Laurel Nymph for Changli and Splashing Summer for Carlotta.
Finally, for the combat-focused crowd, Tactical Hologram: Kelpie and the new permanent challenge mode Banners Never Fall promise high-stakes encounters.
