The UFC Vegas 89 ‘Ribas vs. Namajunas’ weigh-in results are in and all fighters have successfully made weight.
UFC Vegas 89 takes place tomorrow, Saturday, March 23rd at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Headlining the event is a flyweight bout between Amanda Ribas (12-4 MMA) and Rose Namajunas (12-6 MMA).
Ribas, 30, last fought and defeated Luana Pinheiro (11-2 MMA) by TKO last November.
The former strawweight champion, Namajunas, 31, is looking for victory Saturday night after losing two in a row to Carla Esparza (19-7 MMA) and Manon Fiorot (11-1 MMA).
The co-main event of UFC Vegas 89 will feature Karl Williams (9-1 MMA) going up against Justin Tafa (7-3 MMA) in a heavyweight battle.
Williams, 34, has won 6 in a row, his latest victory coming against Chase Sherman (18-12 MMA) last May.
Tafa, 30, is heading into the cage with 3 wins and 1 no-contest in his last 4 fights. ‘Bad Man’ last fought and defeated Austen Lane (12-4 MMA) by KO last September at UFC 293.
