Orlando Pirates enter the race to sign in-form defender ahead for the next transfer window.
Pirates have set their sights on TS Galaxy’s standout left-back, Samukelo Kabini, as they look to strengthen their squad.

Despite the interest, Amakhosi did not make an official approach for the highly-rated defender but they are keeping a close eye on his situation. Jose Riveiro’s side made no signings in the January transfer window, but they are determined to reinforce their squad for both domestic and continental success. Kabini, a former Pirates development player, has flourished since his move to TS Galaxy in 2023.
With PSL experience under his belt and a stellar season so far, a return to the Soweto giants could be on the horizon.

“He (Kabini) is a player that Pirates are monitoring closely and so far, he has impressed. Don’t rule out the possibility of them (Pirates) making an official approach at the end of the season,” a source revealed.
With Pirates aiming for dominance in the Betway Premiership and a deep run in the CAF Champions League. Kabini’s addition could fit perfectly into their long-term vision. The Buccaneers are expected to make significant signings to boost their chances of competing at the highest level. And Kabini has emerged as a key target.
