Michael Blackson and Rada Darling are growing their family. On Thursday (Feb. 20), Darling shared an Instagram post with the comedian, confirming they are expecting their first child together. In the photo, Blackson stands behind her with them both gently holding her baby bump.
“My stomach kept growing, I thought it was weight gain…..No, I’ve confirmed 7 times that it’s not a food baby that I’m carrying. We both are ecstatic,” detailed the caption. “We can’t wait to meet our little miracle.”

According to Complex, Blackson has four children from previous relationships, yet this will be Darling’s first child, noting his eldest as 26-year-old Michael Jr. The couple has been engaged since 2021 when the actor surprised his lady and popped the question during an interview with The Breakfast Club.
“Meet the future Mrs.Blackson @mzradadarling. Ladies men look for loyalty, regardless of what we put you thru stay loyal to your man because we are f**k ups but we will eventually do the right thing. Nothing good come easy so trust in God and what’s meant to happen will happen. I’m blessed to have Rada by my side, she’s the definition of a great woman,” wrote Blackson on Instagram at the time.
“Most of my haters call her a gold digger but believe me Rada has never asked for penny from me, she’s very independent and she’s actually the one that takes care of me plus I’m allowed a side chick a month. Lol.”
In the past, Blackson has been open about the non-traditional rules in their relationship.
“My girl is like… Rada is a freak, okay?” Blackson explained in 2022 per Madam Noire. “The thing about it… I mean, early in the relationship she enjoyed watching me sleep with women.” He later added, “She’s allowed to have any female she wants. Not another man. She doesn’t want another man and we don’t need another penis in the relationship.”
Darling shared, “I have been in a long-term relationship and I said this before, you having sex with the same individual for years is boring and I just want some excitement in the bedroom.”
