Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi Manga Lands Anime

Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi, the manga about a student who’s actually a demon hungry for human souls, has landed an anime adaptation.
The news comes via the cover of the latest Shonen Magazine, where the manga runs. The anime is set to hit screens in 2026.
The manga is written and illustrated by Nonco. It began serialization in 2022 and has nine compiled volumes as of this week.

Kanan, a female demon, sneaks into a high school in the human world to eat delicious souls. She sets her sights on one of the high school boys, but somehow ends up making a love pact with him.
