Kalvin Phillips wants to leave Manchester City for Leeds United

Kalvin Phillips wants to leave Manchester City and return to his former club Leeds United in the summer transfer window, according to Football Insider. Phillips is on loan at Ipswich Town from Man City until the end of the season, and the midfielder is interested in a move back to Leeds.

Leeds will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship. Phillips came through the West Yorkshire club’s youth system before establishing himself in the first team before earning the big move to Man City in 2022.

Phillips has struggled to make an impact at Man City and had a loan spell at West Ham United during the second half of last season. The 29-year-old midfielder, who has played 31 times for England, joined Ipswich on a season-long loan deal from the Cityzens in the summer of 2024. The Tractor Boys are on the verge of getting relegated to the Championship.
