Ever since Diddy‘s homes in Miami and Los Angeles were raided by Homeland Security, the Bad Boy Records founder has been relatively quiet. After maintaining his silence on the ongoing criminal investigation, he shared adorable photos of his 1-year-old daughter, Love from Easter Sunday (March 31).
It was the first time he posted anything online since the raid on Friday, March 25.
“HAPPY EASTER from Baby Love [pink heart emoji],” read the caption. The comment section was turned off and has remained off since Cassie’s explosive lawsuit was publicized.
King Combs, who was at the Los Angeles residence during the raid, recently broke his silence. The 26-year-old took to Snapchat, writing, “Stop with the [blue cap emoji].” He didn’t directly address his father or the investigation.
Upon request for an update, a rep for Homeland Security Investigations told Page Six, “We will provide further information as it becomes available.”
Meanwhile, Diddy’s attorney, Aaron Dyer, considered the raids to be a “witch hunt.”
“Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs’ residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated,” Dyer said in a statement.
Dyer confirmed that Diddy nor any of his family were detained and that the 54-year-old is reportedly cooperating with authorities.
He concluded, “Mr. Combs is innocent and will continue to fight every single day to clear his name […]The unprecedented ambush led to a premature rush to judgment of Mr. Combs and is nothing more than a witch hunt based on meritless accusations made in civil lawsuits.”
Diddy has not addressed the raids, but did address the countless lawsuits that were filed after Cassie’s. He labeled them as “sickening allegations” and is determined to “fight for my name, my family, and for the truth.”
