Renowned photographer Dave Fogarty put up a brave showing in his boxing debut, ultimately falling to Deen The Great.
The former amateur MMA standout was one of the major players at the 3Arena in Dublin for Misfits Boxing’s big pay-per-view event; their debut in Ireland. He clearly drew a large support to the famed fight venue, and gave a solid account of himself before succumbing to the lightweight champion’s power.
Deen The Great, for his part, showcased why he is one of the most feared punchers and technical boxers in influencer boxing as he landed a big stoppage in his first fight since October last year. He has drawn the ire of some of the sport’s biggest names, and recently re-signed to a multi-fight deal with Misfits.

Deen The Great knocks out Conor McGregor’s photographer in Dublin
A capacity crowd at Dublin’s 3Arena packed in early for a big night of fights live on pay-per-view, with Dave Fogarty vs Deen The Great the first of two title fights. The Irishman, who is Conor McGregor’s personal photographer, received a rapturous welcome as the American was roundly booed.
The fight opened at a slower pace, with the taller and longer Fogarty sticking behind his jab as he fended off the much quicker Deen The Great. However, it appeared that the visiting champion’s right hand was landing at will, as he stunned his less experienced rival.
And by the third stanza, the power proved too much as Deen landed a flush shot that floored the Irishman midway through the round. Fogarty continued to attempt to battle through, but was viciously put down again, with the fight being waved off shortly afterwards.
Deen The Great was showered with boos as he was presented with his belt, but took it in his stride as he thanked both Fogarty and the Irish crowd. He even called out Shakur Stevenson for his next outing in a tweet following the event

In the main event, Premier League winner Danny Simpson fought to a draw with YouTube star Danny Aarons. This followed a light-heavyweight title co-main event between Anderson Silva’s son Gabriel Silva and Bellator veteran Anthony Taylor, which the latter won by devastating third round knockout.
Elsewhere on the night, Mike Edwards defeated Jake Cornish and Minikon overcame DTG in the cruiserweight tournament. Also, Prince Naseem Hamed’s son landed a knockout win, as did HSTikkyTokky against George Fensom.
