Camila Cabello has seen better days.
The pop star, 27, took to Instagram Wednesday to share a diary entry-inspired post about how she’s been feeling.
“going thru it lately ❤️🩹,” she captioned a somber mirror selfie she snapped while lying down in her bed.
“feels like sometimes there is heartache everywhere i look, within me and around me,” she penned.
“and i try my best to show up for my friends, my fans and the people that show up for me. but it’s hard to pour from what feels like an empty cup”
Cabello went on to explain, “if I am a part of your life and i disappear sometimes, that’s probably why. so brb while i get some bandages and warm honey and stitches for this head and heart.”
Ending her upload on a cheeky note, the former Fifth Harmony frontwoman added, “you know i’ll be back from my trips to hell hotter funnier and smarter ;))).”
She referred to the message as “field notes : 27 is messy, gilded.”
Cabello turned 27 in March.
Her emotional admission comes on the heels of a reunion with fellow pop star Shawn Mendes.
The on-again, off-again couple sparked reconciliation rumors earlier this month at the Copa América final in Miami, where they were seen sitting next to each other.
Though the singers were not caught on camera engaging in any PDA, they chatted and smiled at each other in fan footage.
X users speculated that they were back together, with one joking, “she never leaving that man alone and he ain’t leaving her alone period.”
Another called them “Jelena 2.0,” in reference to Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s tumultuous romance, while a third confessed that they had “prayed for” the reconnection.
Shortly before the soccer game sighting, Cabello posted a TikTok in which she lip-synched part of her song “B.O.A.T.” and wrote atop the video, “reminding myself why I shouldn’t go back (id still hit).”
She captioned the cryptic clip, “the sad truth.”
Reps for the pair never responded to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The Cuba native and Mendes, 25, first dated from 2019 to 2021.
The duo announced their split via a joint statement that read, “We’ve decided to end our romantic relationship but our love for one another as humans is stronger than ever. We started our relationship as best friends and will continue to be best friends.”
Then in April 2023, they were caught kissing at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival before enjoying a date night at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour the following month.
By June 2023, however, they had called it quits again.
