Benny Blanco Debuts Eyebrow Transformation With Help From Fiancé Selena Gomez
You may raise your eyebrows at Benny Blanco‘s glow-up.
Because he now has two.
Selena Gomez‘s fiancé documented getting his unibrow tweezed by a professional on his TikTok March 22. “I plucked my eyebrows,” the songwriter captioned the video, which shows Selena literally standing by her man and directing the process.
“Do it light,” the 32-year-old said, “because I love him.”
After the deed was done, Benny seemed unimpressed, saying, “I can’t even tell the difference.”
However, the public response was overwhelmingly positive. “Omg yessssss Selena is working her magic,” one person commented, adding, “You look good Benny!!!”
Many encouraged the 37-year-old to go further. Echoing several comments, another user wrote, “HUGE difference! But now we need a haircut.”
Benny has poked fun at his own appearance before. “I believe that I’m actually so ugly and my features are like, so grotesque,” the record producer joked to Andrew Santino—who he’s known for years—on an April 2024 episode of the comedian’s podcast Whiskey Ginger, “that I like, popped out the other side and now I’m just like, a hot guy.”
Benny was also the subject of another comedian’s joke at the 2025 Golden Globes, where he and Selena made their official red carpet debut as a couple.
“Selena Gomez is here, double nominee tonight for Emilia Pérez and Only Murders [in the Building] and she’s here tonight with her new fiancé Benny Blanco,” host Nikki Glaser said in her opening monologue at the January award show, “and Benny Blanco is here because of the genie who granted him that wish.”

Nikki admitted that the joke was “mean” and the “worst thing” she said during her act, adding that she ran it by both Benny and the actress ahead of time.
“I sent him a voice memo of the joke, and he said, ‘I’m cool with it. Let me run it by Selena,’ the comic said on the Feb. 24 episode of the podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, “and so, I got permission.”
Benny, who went on to escort Selena at the 2025 Oscars earlier this month, has maintained his sense of humor despite the jokes made at his expense. And he isn’t letting his critics get him down. He shared a five-word statement, conveyed in coffee and milk, on his TikTok March 19: “Funny guys get hot girls.”

Blossoming Romance
Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco began dating in July 2023, around Selena’s birthday, Benny said on the Howard Stern Show in May 2024.
But they only began to spark romance rumors in late 2023. That December, Selena confirmed the speculation, commenting on a fan page’s Instagram post, regarding Benny, “He is my absolute everything in my heart.”
She continued, “Why has he been the best thing that’s ever happened to me. He’s still better than anyone I’ve ever been with.”
The Rare Beauty founder also shared a photo on her Instagram Story of her leaning her head on what looked to be Benny’s chest.
