Bendy And The Ink Machine Is Being ‘Enhanced’ For Xbox Series X|S

The release date for this enhanced version of Bendy and the Ink Machine has now been announced, and it’s as soon as May 8th, 2025! Pre-orders are now available on the Xbox Store for £15.49 / $19.99, but unfortunately there doesn’t appear to be a free upgrade option for those who own the Xbox One version.

We still haven’t spotted any details about what’s been enhanced, so we’re presuming it’s just a visual glow-up.

Original Story: We’ve often noticed Bendy and the Ink Machine appearing in the Xbox charts whenever it gets a deep discount, which is a pretty impressive feat considering the Xbox One version came out seven years ago at this point!

It looks like it’s about to get another second wind, as it’s been announced today that the game is being “enhanced” for current-gen consoles. Bendy and the Ink Machine will release for Xbox Series X and Series S this May (exact date TBD).

Unfortunately, today’s announcement didn’t come with many details at all, so we don’t know exactly what has been enhanced at the time of writing. There’s also no word on whether it’ll be a free upgrade or an extra payment for those who already own the game on Xbox (we’re guessing it’s the latter, but who knows?).

If you haven’t come across Bendy and the Ink Machine before, it’s a popular “puzzle action horror game” that’s racked up “very positive” reviews on Steam and an Xbox rating of 4.5/5 based on over 1,000 user ratings on the Microsoft Store (US). It was also included in the recent Xbox “Spooky Sale” alongside 2023’s Bendy and the Dark Revival.
