Eye of the Dragon will expand the Fighting Fantasy Classics lineup when it releases on PC and mobile soon
  • The classic dungeon-crawler returns
  • Find the elusive Golden Dragon
  • 19th title to join the Fighting Fantasy Classics library

Back in February, when Starship Traveller released, Tin Man Games teased a dungeon-crawling comeback with the announcement that Eye of the Dragon would be joining their Fighting Fantasy Classics lineup. And now, the wait is nearly over.

Beginning April 22nd, Ian Livingstone’s long-lost gem makes its triumphant return on Steam, iOS, and Android, marking the first official release since 2010 and the first time it’s ever been available in digital format.

Set in the trap-laden tunnels beneath Darkwood Forest, Eye of the Dragon is a pure slice of old-school Fighting Fantasy – all monsters, mayhem, and high-stakes treasure hunts.

You’re lured into the adventure by a mysterious stranger in the town of Fang, and soon enough, you’re drinking a sketchy potion and descending into a deadly labyrinth in search of the mythical Golden Dragon. It’s the kind of perilous journey where a wrong turn might mean a gruesome end, but victory promises untold riches.

As the 19th title to join the Fighting Fantasy Classics library, Eye of the Dragon slides in alongside fan-favourite adventures like Deathtrap Dungeon, The Warlock of Firetop Mountain, and The Port of Peril.

Longtime fans will recognise Martin McKenna’s original art, while newcomers can dive in with ease thanks to QoL features like adjustable difficulty, automated stat tracking, auto-mapping, and a Free Read mode if you just want to explore at your own pace.

And the journey doesn’t end here either. More classic titles are already in development, so keep your adventuring gear handy.

Eye of the Dragon will release on Android, iOS, and Steam on April 22nd. You can visit Tin Man Games’ official website for more information.
