Darren Till looks to make it 3-0 in the squared circle as he returns to the Misfits Boxing ring to face another former UFC fighter.
The promotion announced on Saturday that Till is set to return at Misfits Boxing 21 on March 29 in Manchester, England. Till faces former UFC middleweight Darren Stewart. The event takes place at AO Arena and streams on DAZN pay-per-view.
“The Gorilla” made his promotional debut this past month and destroyed Anthony Taylor via sixth-round knockout in the main event of Misfits Boxing 20. Till competes for the third consecutive time in the influencer boxing scene after parting ways with the UFC following a stoppage loss to current champ Dricus du Plessis at UFC 282 in December 2022.
Stewart finished up his UFC run in August 2021 with a knockout loss to Dustin Jacoby. “The Dentist” went on to compete for Cage Warriors in his next six bouts, going 4-2. In his most recent bout, Stewart was knocked out in the second round by Carlos Pereira at Cage Warriors 169 this past March.
Misfits Boxing 21 will be headlined by a grudge match between KSI and Dillon Danis.
