Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury have received suspensions from competing in the sport of boxing, following their epic rematch.

The Ukrainian emerged victorious via unanimous decision, following 12 enthralling rounds at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury suspended from boxing

Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury produced something special in their epic collision, with each fighter displaying sensational fighting IQs.

Tightening up his defense from the first clash, ‘The Gypsy King’ improved leaps and bounds, showing flashes of his brilliant best.

However, it still wasn’t enough to beat the legend in front of him, with Usyk imposing his ferocious pace, en route to claiming another tremendous victory.

While the pair both left fans excited to see them back in action, at least for the time being, they’ll have to take some time to recover.

The WBC requires both boxers to rest for three days for every round fought, meaning they will have to take a 36-day break from action.

However, while neither fighter would’ve competed within this time period anyway, they will likely return home to enjoy Christmas, before getting back into camp in early 2025.

Having proven his status as the number one heavyweight on the planet, Usyk could potentially run off into the sunset with his head held high.
